List of FA Cup broadcasters

The FA Cup is broadcast live in the United Kingdom by BBC Sport and ITV Sport from the 2021-22 season and around the world by the respective broadcasting rights holders. This broadcast package is included in The FA package (FA Cup only for BBC Sport), which contains: FA Community Shield (aired before the FA Cup seasons starts).

United Kingdom[edit]

Both of these broadcasters will air the tournament until 2024-25 season.

Broadcaster Summary
BBC Sport 18 Live matches per season, with highlights of the FA Community Shield.[1] BBC Sport has second and third picks of matches in the Second Round, Fourth Round and the Quarter Finals, as well as first and fourth pick of matches the First, Third and Fifth Rounds, and first pick of the Semi-finals.

BBC also have rights to stream Qualifying Round matches on their digital services, though this is restricted to usually one match per round

ITV Sport At least 20 live matches per season, plus live coverage of the FA Community Shield.[2] ITV has first pick and fourth pick of matches in the Second Round, Fourth Round and the Quarter Finals, as well as second and third picks for the First, Third and Fifth Rounds and second pick of the Semi-finals.

Additional matches featuring Welsh clubs may feature on BBC Wales or on Welsh language channel S4C.

From 2025-26 season, the tournament (including Community Shield) will move again to TNT Sports.
